Dear Joe–
This week, we’ve had a few more problems than I’d like, but, I have also been busier this week than I have in a while, so I will just say thank you for changing your demeanour these last couple of days.
You are completely forgiven because you were so good for Granny Grace yesterday while Mom and Dad went to go take care of Baby Allie with Aunt Ashely and Uncle David at the hospital. Baby Allie is doing well, but she may not be able to come to your birthday party. You two will get to play soon, I promise!
You keep asking for your Grandpa Dave to come play with you, because for some reason, playing with me and Dad isn’t cool anymore. Eventually, he’ll come over just to play with you instead of helping me fix something on the computers. Heh.
You’re getting very excited about your birthday coming up soon. I have the cheesecake stuff for the cheesecake you want me to make, but I am afraid you’re not going to be happy when you see that I can’t put Spiderman on it.
You look so cute in your feet pajamas! Just thought I’d throw that in there.
Love,
Mom

I feel like a stalker, responding to all of your posts… ha. With the spiderman cheesecake, You could make a web by using strawberry, cherry, or blueberry glaze (in baking aisle) and piping it through a baggie to make the web. And then look for a spiderman toy to go on top? Something Joe could then have for a gift. Or check online. A lot of places probably have face-shaped spiderman cake toppers.
I am so glad that Allie is going to be okay. What a scary situation. Thank goodness all turned out well.
@bluewingz Don’t feel like a stalker! I like it. It’s nice someone cares enough since this blog is so new. You rock with the ideas there!
She’s gonna be in the hospital for awhile, but I saw a semi-normal little girl through all the wires and connections.
Grandparents are ALWAYS cooler than mom and dad. I’ve learned to accept that.
